A Sustainable Solution for Water Treatment: Polyferric Sulfate (PFS)

Polyferric sulfate (PFS) is a highly efficient inorganic polymer coagulant widely used in wastewater purification. It appears as a light-yellow powder in solid form and a reddish-brown liquid when dissolved. Meeting the national standard GB/T14591-2016, PFS is known for its fast solubility, strong coagulation ability, rapid sedimentation, and wide applicability. It is free from aluminum, chloride, and heavy metals, making it a safe and eco-friendly choice for water treatment.

PFS is extensively applied in various fields such as municipal water purification, industrial wastewater treatment, and paper-making or dyeing wastewater removal. It performs remarkably well in phosphorus removal, decolorization, deodorization, oil removal, turbidity reduction, and sludge dewatering processes, ensuring high efficiency and stability.

Functionally, polyferric sulfate plays multiple key roles:
(1) Efficient Coagulant – It aggregates fine particles into larger flocs, accelerating sedimentation and filtration.
(2) Heavy Metal Removal – PFS effectively precipitates and removes heavy metal ions such as copper, nickel, and chromium.
(3) Industrial Wastewater Treatment – Suitable for wastewater with high pollutant concentrations, aiding in the removal of suspended solids and organic substances.
(4) Deoxidizer – In certain applications, PFS acts as a deoxidizing agent, reducing dissolved oxygen levels in water.
(5) Water Body Restoration – It helps improve water quality and mitigate eutrophication in ponds and lakes.
(6) Drinking Water Purification – Removes turbidity, organic matter, and microorganisms to ensure safer, cleaner water.

With its outstanding coagulation performance and environmental compatibility, polyferric sulfate has become an essential agent for modern, sustainable water treatment projects worldwide
