Poly Aluminum Chloride series products, abbreviated as PAC, are also commonly known as coagulants, polyaluminum chloride, polyaluminum, or flocculants. PAC is a water-soluble inorganic polymer compound that lies between AlCl₃ and Al(OH)₃. It is characterized by high polymerization, large molecular weight, rapid flocculation, and excellent water purification performance. PAC is available in reddish-brown, light yellow, and white powder forms. This product has strong bridging and adsorption properties. During hydrolysis, it undergoes multi-hydroxyl polymerization, adsorption, and precipitation processes.

I. Product Features of Poly Aluminum Chloride

  1. Rapid floc formation, high activity, and good filterability.

  2. No need for alkaline additives; its performance remains stable even after deliquescence.

  3. Wide pH adaptability, strong applicability, and broad usage.

  4. Treated water contains low salinity.

  5. Capable of removing heavy metals and radioactive contaminants from water.

II. Applications of Poly Aluminum Chloride

This product can remove bacteria, odor, fluorine, aluminum, chromium, oil, turbidity, heavy metal salts, and radioactive pollutants, making it widely applicable in water purification processes.

  1. Purification of domestic drinking water and municipal wastewater.

  2. Purification of industrial water, industrial wastewater, mining wastewater, papermaking effluent, oilfield reinjection water, metallurgy, coal washing, leather industry effluent, and various chemical wastewater treatments.

  3. Industrial applications: papermaking sizing, textile dyeing and finishing, cement accelerator, precision casting hardener, refractory material binder, glycerin purification, fabric wrinkle resistance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other industries, with wastewater being recyclable.

  4. In the petroleum industry, it is used for oil–water separation with excellent results.
